BEA and Oracle have merged their businesses in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, United Kingdom, Sweden, Israel, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Greece, Middle Eastern Arab States, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India and Brazil. The BEA Certification Program provides valuable, measurable rewards to IT professionals, their managers, and the BEA technology-based organizations that employ them.

Note 1: BEA Certification Exam Registration Change

As of May 31, 2008 BEA certification exams can now be purchased and registered for directly via Prometric. As of May 31, 2008 BEA will no longer require that you purchase an examination voucher from Education Services. For those of you who have already purchased an exam voucher from BEA Education which has not yet expired, you can still use this code when registering for your exam at Prometric after May 31, 2008. Note 2: The BEA Certification Program is retiring the following five certification exams as of September 30, 2008.

1. Passguide 0B0-101 BEA Certified Developer: Build Solutions for BEA WebLogic 8.1
2. Passguide 0B0-102 BEA Certified Developer: Portal Solutions for BEA WebLogic 8.1
3. Passguide 0B0-103 BEA Certified Developer: Integration Solutions for BEA WebLogic 8.1/8.5
4. passguide 0B0-104 BEA Certified Administrator: System Administration for BEA WebLogic 8.1
5. Passguide 0B0-105 BEA Certified Architect: Enterprise Architecture for BEA WebLogic 8.1

Starting on September 30, 2008 these exams and designations will no longer be available as certification options to candidates. Candidates who wish to earn their BEA Certified title associated with the above exams must pass them by September 30, 2008
