Check Point has developed a new certification ccma

Check Point Certified Master Architect*

The Check Point Certified Master Architect (CCMA) certification is Check Point’s highest level of professional certification. This certification identifies Check Point experts capable of designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting complex end-to-end Check Point security architectures, including perimeter, internal, Web and end-point security solutions.
Currently, lab exams are only offered at Check Point CCMA lab locations. The lab exams are 8-hour hands-on exams that test the ability to configure and troubleshoot Check Point security solutions. Each portion on a lab exam has specific criteria. Lab exam fees are $1200 USD each, not including travel and lodging.

Lab exams are graded by proctors who ensure all criteria are met and points are awarded accordingly.
Automatic tools are used to gather some information from the lab equipment, but the final determination of a correct or incorrect configuration is done by a trained proctors.

The written exam is a computer-based, 2 hour test available at worldwide Pearson VUE testing centers for $300 USD each.

You must pass the written exam before you are eligible to schedule the lab exam.

Written exam scores are automatically downloaded from testing centers, and may take up to 2-3 weeks to appear in your file.
You will need the identification number you used to register for the written exam, the date of your passing exam, and your passing score.
A valid passing score of 80% on a written exam is required to schedule a lab exam.

Becoming a CCMA
Check Point recommends having 5 years experience with Check Point products.
