Cisco ® Unified Communications for System Engineer UCSE training covers all of the topics necessary for the proper installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of a Cisco ® Unity 4.1 system in either a stand-alone voice mail or unified messaging environment. UCSE provides best practice information for installation, upgrades, and technical level system set up. Students completing UCSE after UCSA will not only be extremely competent unified messaging engineers, they will also be well prepared for the Cisco ® Unity System Engineer exam.
Training Prerequisites
Students enrolled in this course should possess experience with Cisco ® networking and possess a CCNA certification or the equivalent knowledge and experience. To benefit fully from this course, students should also have knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, Exchange 2000/2003 or the Lotus Domino messaging environment, and knowledge of the features, benefits, and programming of at least one manufacturer’s PBX (CallManager preferred). Successful completion of the following courses (or equivalent experience) is strongly recommended:
