Objectives

HP Integrated Systems Management is a specialty course that teaches how to integrate the Compaq Insight Manager application with enterprise wide systems management platforms. The training focuses on a total system management strategy and how Compaq Management Agents interact with enterprise wide management platforms. Lab activities center upon
installing Compaq Insight Manager for Unicenter TNG, Compaq Insight Manager for Tivoli

Training Prerequisites

To receive the maximum benefit from this course, Compaq strongly recommends that you have the knowledge and skills listed below:

Previously attended the HP Systems Technologies class, course code 397 and pass the associated test.

Obtain professional certification from Novell, Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE)
or from Microsoft, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

Previously attended either the HP / NetWare Integration and Performance Course
(Course Code 423) or the HP / Windows NT Integration and Performance Course
(Course Code 422).

Have a minimum of one year experience configuring and installing Compaq
servers in a NetWare or Windows NT environment. You should additionally have one year experience in supporting clients in a NetWare or Windows NT environment.
