The Disaster Tolerance and Data Availability Exam HP0-847 is one of the core requirements to be certified as a Master ASE, SAN Architect.

Disaster Tolerance and Data Availability Exam Preparation Guide
This level of certification measures the competencies required for hands-on
design as well as the skills needed for the integration and support of business
solutions for complex, enterprise environments. Given a set of customer business requirements this individual is expected to be able to design, support and integrate application, middleware, platform, operating system, storage, network, and option components necessary to solve business needs. The ideal candidate is anyone who deploys complex solutions based on HP
technologies. Individuals pursuing this level must meet the prerequisite of having the Accredited Systems Engineer certification.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of:
the Implementing SANworks Solutions course
the Implementing and Servicing Data Replication Manager
Students should be comfortable with the following before taguide this class:
Fibre Channel concepts including knowledge of Arbitrated-Loops, Switched Fabrics, and Fibre Channel hardware components
Familiarity with a Windows-based server environment measured by comfort in navigating through Windows system management utilities
Exam details
At the beginning of the exam, you will be asked to answer several survey questions. The survey questions are designed to assist the exam development team in accurately profiling test results and to improve future exams.
