Purpose of the exam prep guide

The intent of this guide is to set expectations about the content and the context
of the exam and to help candidates prepare for the exam. In this guide, you will find recommended HP training courses, reference and study material to help you achieve a successful passing score.

Studies conducted by HP and Prometric show that a combination of course attendance and self-study maximizes the likelihood of passing the exam on the first attempt.

Audience

This course provides a solid foundation for CCI Solution Architects who need to educate and qualify customers for the CCI solution and design and set up a
Small Reference Design or full deployment of 200 seats or less. Extensive labs will provide opportunity for hands-on work with the hardware and software.

Certification requirements

This CCI Fundamentals for Solution Architects Exam is one of the core requirements to be certified as an ASE: HP CCI Technical Professional.

Prerequisites

The candidate must have either MCSE on Windows Server 2003 or MCSE on Microsoft Windows 2000 in addition to one of the following six certifications or exams:

o ASE – HP ProLiant Servers [2005]
o ASE – HP ProLiant ML/DL Servers [2007]
o AIS – HP Blade Systems [2007]
