CCSP™ (Cisco Certified Security Professional) certification is designed for IT professionals responsible for delivering self-defending networks that are integrated, collaborative, and adaptive. Prerequisites
CCNA Security or CCNA + SND (until 11/17/2011)

There are five required exams for CCSP certification:
642-503 SNRS (Securing Networks with Cisco Routers and Switches)
642-523 SNPA (Securing Networks with PIX and ASA)
642-533 IPS (Implementing Cisco Intrusion Prevention Systems)
642-552 SND (Securing Cisco Network Devices)
642-513 HIPS (Securing Hosts using Cisco Security Agent) OR

642-591 CANAC (Implementing Cisco NAC Appliance) OR

 642-544 MARS (Implementing Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System)

Recertification
CCSP certifications are valid for three years. Individuals who hold an active Cisco CCNP, CCDP, CCIP, CCSP, or CCVP certification will recertify their professional-level certifications when they pass any other Cisco professional-level certification exam. Certification holders will continue to re-certify their professional level certifications when they pass any CCIE written exam.
