New Citrix Sales Certifications and PolicyWe are pleased to announce the availability of a new sales certification, the Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) 2008. The CCSP 2008 is designed to help you effectively position Citrix products and close more business. Key features for 2008 include:

• Four specialized tracks focusing on the primary product lines within the Citrix Delivery Center: Citrix XenApp™, Citrix® NetScaler®, Citrix XenDesktop™ and Citrix XenServer™
• Brand new courses on the Citrix Whiteboard and Citrix Sales Methodology as well as brand new product courses with the latest messaging
• A new designation, CCSP 2008 for Application Delivery, for candidates who attain all four CCSP 2008 certification tracks

These new sales certifications take less time to complete and are offered at no cost as a benefit to all Citrix partners.

With the announcement of the CCSP 2008, partner requirements and status relating to other existing CCSP certifications are impacted. Anyone currently in the process of obtaining a CCSP 2007 certification must register for courses required for this certification by 8/15/2008.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the most recent sales training Citrix has to offer. As you begin to work towards certification, don’t forget to visit Certification Manager at http://www.citrixcertmanager.com to check your progress, update your contact information, and ensure you are correctly associated to a partner. Your certification(s) count toward the minimum requirements your organization needs to meet Citrix Partner Program requirements and earn program benefits.
If you are a primary Business, Sales, or Technical contact for your organization, review the Partner Certification Manager tool on MyCitrix.com to determine if the right people are associated with your organization. You currently may not be receiving the proper credit for certifications held by your organization if individuals are not associated.
