Passed vmware Vcp-310 exam

I tried this exam two months ago and it was very difficult (most of the questions tested the enlish language rather than the technical aspects of VMware). Anyway, took it again on friday and passed with 85%!

To study for this test, I would recommend:
1) the VMware pdfs
2) hands on experience
3) the VMware cbts
4) hands on experience
5) the latest TK (believe it or not, it does help)
6) hands on experience
I compare this exam to CCNA, very scenario-oriented. But, if you’ve played with VI3 for a while, you shouldn’t have a problem.

I passed yeasterday with 100%!!
All questions where from the study guide above or from Testking 17.x. There where a handfull of conflicting answers between the two guides. I went with the answers in the guide listed above rather than Testking.

Here is what I did.
1. Watch all the CBT Nuggets Videos
2. Build a ESX server at home
3. Build a machine with Workstation 6 on it. Inside of Workstation 6 set up 2 ESX servers, 1 iscsi san, Virtual Center and License center
4 Read a bunch of VMWare Documentation tests
5. Memorized the Testking and Pass4Sure tests.

Worked for me and I feel I realy know the product after 3-4 months.
I may take the class later if my company will pay for it, but only so we get the office certification
