Dr Simz helped me a lot there were 5 sims & 3 were xact the ones that are there in it.

I prepared from

MS Press Book 2nd Edition
Passguide – v45, 53, 56 & 59 (didnt look at it completely)
PassGuide – v2.2 (again lot many questions were from it)

i didnt read actualtest or testinside so i dont know how much they help but DR Simz do help quite a lot. & obviously saw Dr Simz.

Finally a piece of advice i know u ppl will b tempted to just read the dumps but i still tell u to read the book & practise coz xam paper keeps changin a litle bit.

mine had 45 questions & as in the past not a single question came from SUS but it did come from WSUS so if u just read the dumps it wud not have helped !!

Dumps are like sample paper to practise not just to cram but to chk the prep u have for the xam.

Hope u ppl who are goin to give xam gets to know wat u ppl wanted!!

Best Of Luck!!
QUESTION 1:
You work as the network administrator at Certkiller .com. The Certkiller .com
network consists of a single Active Directory domain named Certkiller .com. All
servers on the Certkiller .com network run Windows Server 2003 and all client
computers run Windows XP Professional.
The Certkiller .com network contains a server named Certkiller -SR33. This server
is used in the Development department of Certkiller .com. The Development
department is creating new application for Certkiller .com. You are planning for
high availability and fault tolerance that will help you to minimize the downtime
experienced by your users. On Certkiller -SR33 you deploy a two-node server
cluster. On a very important in-house graphics application which will be used by the
Development department, you deploy the application on each node of the cluster
and create a resource group for the in-house application.
For the Development group you then create resources for that group. The resources
are on several physical disks; however you cannot create a network resource. You
need to create the network name resource for the new application.
What should you do?
A. For the Development group you should configure a preferred owners list.
B. For the Development group you should create an IP address resource.
C. For the Development group you should configure a possible owners list.
D. Delete the physical disk resource and create the network name resource first.
Answer: B
Explanation: If you run an application on a server cluster, it is represented by a
server cluster group. The resources in a group are reliant on other resources in that
group. The users that connect to the network connect to the IP address of a friendly
name. If you want to provide a friendly name for an application, you must create a
network name resource.
Incorrect answers:
A: Configure a preferred owners list is optional because resources in a group can be

created without any preferred owners having been specified.
C: A possible owners list is a property that pertains to individual resources in a group.
D: Delete the physical disk resource and create the network name resource first would
not allow you to create a network name resource without first creating an IP address
resource in the groups for the application.
QUESTION 2:
You work as the network administrator at CertKiller.com. The CertKiller.com
network consists of a single Active Directory domain named Certkiller .com. All
servers on the CertKiller.com network run Windows Server 2000. Half the client
computers run Windows 2000 Professional, and the rest run Windows XP
Professional.
The CertKiller.com network is separated from the organization’s primary
production network by a firewall, to prevent outside traffic infiltrating the private
network. The CertKiller.com network contains a two-node server cluster that runs
Exchange Server 2003 in an active/passive configuration. The Exchange virtual
server (EVS) is configured to run on Node 1. You have been instructed to configure
Node 2 to take over automatically if Node 1 fails. If the Node 1 comes back on line
you need to repair the problem and move the EVS to Node 1 manually.
What should you do?
A. Configure Node 1 as the preferred owner.
Disable failback.
B. Configure Node 1 as the preferred owner.
Enable failback.
C. Configure both nodes as the preferred owners.
Place Node 1 at the top of the list, and enable failover.
D. Configure both nodes as the preferred owners.
Place Node 1 at the top of the list, and disable failover.
Answer: A
Explanation: The Exchange virtual server is a cluster resource group that can do
the job of the Exchange server. You can bring any recourse online on any node as a
possible owner. If you bring a group online, you need to bring online all subsets of
the group’s resources. The cluster will try to bring the group online on the node that
appears on top.
Incorrect answers:
B: A failback is the corollary of a failover. When the original node that hosted the
failedover resource comes back online, the cluster service can return the cluster group to
operation on the original node. This failback policy can be defined individually for a
cluster group or disabled entirely.
C, D:
If a resource on a node fails, the cluster service will first attempt to reactivate the

resource on the same node. If unable to do so, the cluster service will move the cluster
group to another node in the server cluster. You cannot enable or disable failover.
Failover occurs automatically.

QUESTION 3:
You work as the network administrator at Certkiller .com. The Certkiller .com
network consists of a single Active Directory domain named Certkiller .com. All
servers on the Certkiller .com network run Windows Server 2000. Half the client
computers run Windows 2000 Professional, and the rest run Windows XP
Professional.
The Certkiller .com consists of a Marketing department that consists of 500
employees. The Certkiller .com network contains two servers named
Certkiller -SR10 and Certkiller -SR11, which reside in the Marketing
department. Certkiller -SR10 and Certkiller -SR11 are configured as a two-node
cluster. On the cluster is a very important in-house application which is contained in
a cluster group named TestApp. During routine monitoring you discover that
TestApp is in a failed state. When restarting the cluster service on
Certkiller -SR11, it fails. You need to find the problem on Certkiller -SR11 while
retaining TestApp on Certkiller -SR10.
What should you do?
A. On Certkiller -SR10, specify the failover threshold to 0.
B. On Certkiller -SR10, specify the failback threshold to 0.
C. On Certkiller -SR10, specify the failover period to 0.
D. On Certkiller -SR10, specify the failback period to 0.
Answer: A
Explanation: If you specify the failover threshold to 0, you can maintain TestApp on
the server while shorting out the other server.
Incorrect answers:
B: A failback is the corollary of a failover. When the original node that hosted the
failedover resource comes back online, the cluster service can return the cluster group to
operation on the original node. Failback threshold settings are not connected to failover
policy threshold and period settings in terms of actions.
D: A failback is the corollary of a failover. When the original node that hosted the
failedover resource comes back online, the cluster service can return the cluster group to
operation on the original node. Failback period settings are not connected to failover
policy threshold and period settings in terms of actions.
C: If a resource on a node fails, the cluster service will first attempt to reactivate the

resource on the same node. If unable to do so, the cluster service will move the cluster
group to another node in the server cluster. This process is called a failover. The failover
period value control how many time the Cluster service attempts to fail to a cluster
resource during a specified period of time.
